    Creator Solutions subscripstion

Posted by Anette Korsgaard on 14th Jan 2020

I own Vue 4 - and loved it....but thought it might need bit of an update so I tried out the Trial versions and decided to subscribe-and I am very happy about it. I hope to see more tutorials for both programs but like the ones present already. Only minor thing confusing me was going from the trial versions to the full was my saved files. They all needed to be resaved to be usable in the full versions.
Love the possibilities in this great duo!

I love the monthly subscription idea but....

Posted by Rob on 20th Dec 2019

As a user of Vue and Adobe CC I think it is a shame you don't offer the Creator license but allow it on 2 devices. As someone who has a workstation and a laptop for on the go I would love to be happy to pay a little more for one extra license. I guess I could buy a second Creator license but when Adobe allows its software on two devices, it is a shame E-on don't offer something similar.

that said, i love the product and will remain a customer. I just would love a little more freedom on how I produce my art.

[e-on's answer] Hello Rob, this is absolutely possible with the annual licenses. Monthly subscription licenses have a technical limitation that prevent them from being activated on 2 machines. Best regards

I import models from sketchup pro and render them in vue. It works better than any of the sketchup plugins.

    Watered down

It doesn't have as nearly enough capabilities as the other softwares and without enough tools, I can't export any of my 3d models on this and I'm not going to pay $60 more just to do that when there are other products on the market that do things better than Vue, lighting with Lightwave 2018, terrain generation with World Machine.

[e-on's response]Indeed, Creator does not have export capabilities. You can always work your scenes or assets in Creator, and when you need to export, take one month of Pro. This proved to be a very cost effective solution for a lot of our users. There's of course plenty of other 3D solutions on the market, so to everyone's preference.

    tough hardware requirements

Posted by sigfrido ferniani on 20th Aug 2019

the minimum hardware requirements are tougher than those officially required. Arm yourself with a good hardware configuration and you won't regret it. otherwise, the response times will be really unnerving.
